4 really is the better way to go, if you are financially able to do so. -

TBickle Member Posts: 110No, I used 4 switches for CCNP study but after I finished my Switch studies (roughly 6-7 months ago) i loaned one of my 2950s to my brother. I definitely suggest getting 4 switches for CCNP Switch lab so that you can at least follow the Cisco Student Lab Manual for CCNP Switch.

Late to the game, but here is my lab.
2 Cisco 2821s, running 15.1, one running CUCME 8.6
1 Cisco 2611
1 Cisco 2610
1 Cisco 3750 L3 PoE
3 Cisco 3548XLs
1 Cisco 2950
1 Dell 1950, 2x 3.0ghz Quad Cores, 16gb RAM, 4x 146gb HDDS running CUCM 8.6, CUCx 8.5, UCCX 8.5, Win2K3 for AD, DNS, DHCP, CentOS Server, and Linux Mint desktop (not all at once!)
Also in use, 3 laptops, 3 Cisco 7961s, Cisco E3000 wireless router, and Brother MFD-6490. Just yesterday I routed the stack through my E3000, so I am able to work from the recliner while I am reading, lessening the trips to the office for simple commands. Trivial feat, but it excited me.Cisco VoIP Engineer I

It's sooo loud, I can even hear it from upstairs. ;-; I only turn it on when I want to test some OS. I wan't to change the fans, but I don't to risk messing it up. Or I could end up getting a Tower instead. -

In my lab I have a 2960 and 3550 switch, and I’m not sure if I should get the 3560 now or get a 2950 and call it a day until I truly need the 3560.
Routers are 1841, 2801 and 2811.
I have to get a couple of WIC cards and cables this weekend. -

wgroom Member Posts: 147LOL, thanks Jean! I am looking for another 3750 to practice HSRP, and would like to find a few 1841s to add to the rack. What I really need right now is a NAS. Currently using a WD 1tb USB drive slaved off the E3000, but I would like to tie a NAS into the ESXi environment.Cisco VoIP Engineer I
