I have PASSED my CCNA !!

leeyewloonleeyewloon Member Posts: 6 ■□□□□□□□□□
I have just taken the CCNA 640-801 about 2 hours ago. It made me wanna jump up when I finished my last question (with 5 mins more) and displayed a "Congratulations" and with passing score 885. Nothing can express my feeling at that time.

I have been using almost 1 month time to study the cisco material and practice and tons of CCNA questions downloaded from web as well as using Boson for the lab practicing. This is my first time taking CCNA and before this I have being pass through the Cisco Acedamic (2 years back). Finally, I am glad to archieve my goals! My next step is forwarding to CCNP !!! :D

    Hi there,
It's my pleasure for sharing out my way to get the CCNA certified. Not sure it will help you because I believe different people will have their different comfortable way for archivement.

For me, I suggest that you can study 1 round for all the topics of CCNA using some referrence books(like Cisco Press). Do focus on the ICND and mostly questions are from ICND(unless you are taking the 2 tests way). After that, try to download as many questions as possible from web, and also online practice questions(like techexams.net). These questions are just for practicing and please do not rely on 100% that it will come out exactly the same. After you did those questions, you will find out that it's not that hard but Cisco just playing around those questions and make it tricky only. Do read carefully before you answer them. After all, 1 week before the exam, try to have a quick go through again the whole topics. Do focus on subnetting, Vlan, VTP, routing protocols, access list..(better to prepare for all topics)

For the simulations, do focus on how the routers communicate(routing through RIP,OSPF,EIGRP). Suggest to use the Boson simulator for practicing, unless you are willing to spend for real equipments.

You ought to have gone ahead and done it...Just kidding. They'd cancel your results faster than you can read the word "FAIL" icon_lol.gif
