I have 1 query. I have 2 shared drives on my server 2000 . Have made 1 OU finance. and have made a Group Finanve in that OU. and there are few users in this group. I want to map the shared drives on client side when the users from finance group login on client machines.
I know i need to write a cript of mapping and enter that in autoexec.bat file on clients. Or i have to assigned some group policy for that ???
Please suggest me something ? my boss wants me to complete this job as soon as possible.
Thanx in advance

Sie Member Posts: 1,195As far as i believe you have to script the drive mappings but you can use a group ploicy to run the script on startup rather than using autoexec.bat.Foolproof systems don't take into account the ingenuity of fools
