I was really concerned about my preperation for this exam but somehow I managed an 889 using the MS Press Book and included test prep, Transcender and the Tech Notes from this site. Great job on the Tech Notes by the way, they work really well as a study guide/last minute review notes. :D

What's the catch to the '15% off' voucher included with MS Press books? I've always been tempted to pay the extra dollars for MS Press to take advantage of that voucher, but other publisher seems to be much cheaper.

$36 bucks for the MS book and 15% off on the test seemed a real good deal to me. I picked mine up from Walmart on-line. icon_cool.gif

yeah you do actually get 15% off the exam so in the UK thats about £13.20 of the exam price. besides i mainly bought the mspress book because i heard gd reviews about this exam book. ive also read crap reviews saying its poorly written etc etc but i though the book was great. theres alot of prep labs to put what your reading into play. you also get measure up cd with 450 q's (so the back of the book claims) but i thought it was around 150. but still its gd practice q's - which you would usually fork out £££'s for. then in the back of the book its got alot of other recomendations for practice labs for each objective!

so all in all i would say it good value for money and if the 290 book is the same i would buy that too! (hopefully when i pass the 270 ;))

oooo one other thing the 15% voucher runs out ..................but not until 2009 :p so unless your gona spend years on this i wouldnt worry about that issue haha ;P
