I shared a folder on my xp computer so that other xp computer or linux computer(using samba) can access it.

My question is are there anyway on the xp computer to see what or how many computer are accessing the shared folder at the momment?

    Control Panel => Administrative Tools => Computer Management

    under Shared Folders, there is a Sessions section and open files section.

    Good luck.

    You can also open a cmd prompt and type net sessions or net files, in case you need to script/automate/schedule it, or just want to know faster than going to comp mgmt.

    Another easy one is :

    My Computer -> click right -> Manage

    System Tools -> Shared Folders -> Session's !
