I have my Net+ and A+ do i need to take 70-270 to gain a mcp?
Also does a MCDST apply to an MCSA certification?

To gain a MCP ( certification ) you need to take a MS exam ( no mather that is 70-270 , or else ).
MCDST is an elective for MCSA ( if you want ).
