Win NT supports only Fat16 and NTFS4 if sp4 then NTFS5

    XP and 2000 support Fat16, Fat32 and NTFS5

Basically, you both are correct. Damn....how do you remember which SP on NT 4 supports what? But I remember SP4 was an important one.

    It is complex.

Win 95 (orgional) FAT 16 only. WIN 95 (B) or OSR 2, tested by Compaq and maybe the most ripped off Win <ever>, FAT 16/32.

    Win 95 2nd edition, FAT 16/32.

Win 98 (all editions) an improved FAT 16/32.

    NT 4 FAT 16/NTFS (4) SP 4 I think did NTFS 5

    Win 2000 FAT 16/32/ NTFS 4/5

    Win 2003 all FAT/NTFS

FYI NT4, HPFS Read only. (old OS/2 format)

Win Me ALL FAT, no NTFS.
