A+ exam schedule.

Does anyone know where I can find the dates for the A+ exams that will be held between Sept and Dec of 2006? I want start studying with a date in mind.

    You can take the test anytime you want. There is no set exam schedule. Just call or go online with Vue or Prometric and find a testing center near you and schedule your exam.

    The only thing you need to consider is that many testing centers are not open on the weekends. Also, the availability of testing centers around the holidays can vary considerably. I find that testing centers located at community colleges are the for best for all around availability.

    Ah, I see. Maybe I'll aim for December. But what if I fail? Is that it for the 220-301 and 220-302? Shouldn't there be a phasing in process for the new exams?

    Ask about that in the A+ forums, as they'll know more about the exact dates. I don't know if both revisions will be offered at the same time, and when the actual switch-over date will be.

    I see your concern about passing before the new revision of the A+ exams are official. However, if you approach the exams with the idea that you will fail then you will most likely fail. Study hard and earnestly and have confidence that you will pass in December.
