Administrators Companion books

Any opinions on the MS "Administrators Companion" books? I picked one up for Windows Server 2003 over the weekend and it seems more in depth than the resource kit for 70-290.

I was thinking about picking this up as well for an on-the-job refernce or something. I would like to know about these companion books as well without me having to google

It is likely more in-depth because it's geared towards in-depth knowledge, while the other is simply geared toward what you need to know to pass the exam. At least that's my take on it.
