router / switch simulation

I want to pick up a good simulation program to help my studies. I played around with CCNA Network Visualizer 5.0, but it seemed limited in the supported commands. Are there better programs out there???

The Latest Boson Netsim is rumored to be the best however, its better to build a rack and learn on real equipment than simulators. You can purchase some 2500 router's and some 2950 switches on Ebay for real cheap. This setup would be great to learn on and far superior than learning on a simulator.
