Kind of amazes me this certification - Comptia obviously wants to muscle in on the electical installation certification area I guess. It is great that they are looking at new areas of technology, however in most areas to install/repair this technology one needs a varying level of electrical certification. In fact in many areas one must also be a card carrying union member, so I am not 100% convinced if it is truly relative or not. I guess like many things - time will tell.

There was actually, as well as General MS and General Cisco forums, but we merged them into one general cert forum just recently...
Thus... you dumped it in the right forum

I think the HTI+ is interesting... perhaps some day... when I get real bored , I might study for it and take it. I don't think it will boost an IT carreer though, but it might be useful to troubleshoot my future home
