Hi All
I wish u r all in a good health.I have 2 questions about ISDN PRI and i wish u could help me answer them
1) ISDN router with PRI interface connect to ISDN switch through leased line , Is that mean that ISDN PRI is no longer circuit switch and it is deticated ????????

2) In ISDN PRI, How the serial interface that carry the D-channel is physically connected to ISDN Switch ??? Does it connected using leased line also or throught phone line or what ???

Thanks in advance

You don't have something like PRI interface on router, you have to configure E1 or T1 framing on serial interface connected to leased line (which is running E1 or T1 on both ends - "channelized framing") and then mark one of the channels as D channel (others are B channels). Circuit switching is between telcos switches, between switch and router you have leased line with channelized framing running.

    Hope it helps :)
