NAT restrictions

Cisco says:
CISCO IOS NAT doesn't permit the next traffic types:
-Routing table up dates
- DNS transfer zones
-BOOTP
-SNMP
Do somebody know why?

Not passing DNS transfer sounds strange to me. It is a unicast at port 53.
However bootP usually doesn't get routed anyway, since it is a broadcast.
