1900 or 2900 switches

in CCNA & CCENT
I have been told that the CCNA exam now only uses 2900 series switches on the exam?

Anyone know if this is true?

    1900 series with enterprise IOS is "okay" for VLAN, but the syntax is still different.

    2900 series is the way to go. Specifically, the exam is based on 2950 series. But 2912 or 2924 is okay as well.
