Question about the certification!

Hey guys just wondering how long you have after you pass the first test to take the next test. I heard it was 6 months, but i just read somewhere that it was 90 days?

depends on person and how much of the stuff you know, a friend of mine took both tests in same day to become A+. I on the other hand spaced mine out by about 18 months belive it or not

It was a priority at that point in time for me.

It's 90 days. I had to call and find out, and I ended up doing my OS on the 90th day.

It may also depend on where you take the test. It's not unheard of to find that some testing centers have their own policies regarding retakes or exams in a series.

I thought the 90 day policy was removed when they upgraded to the 2003 test version. I actually think I may have taken my two tests more than 90 days apart. Might want to check with comptia about this one
