Hey guys just wondering how long you have after you pass the first test to take the next test. I heard it was 6 months, but i just read somewhere that it was 90 days?

depends on person and how much of the stuff you know, a friend of mine took both tests in same day to become A+. I on the other hand spaced mine out by about 18 months belive it or not icon_rolleyes.gif It was a priority at that point in time for me.

It's 90 days. I had to call and find out, and I ended up doing my OS on the 90th day. icon_eek.gif

It may also depend on where you take the test. It's not unheard of to find that some testing centers have their own policies regarding retakes or exams in a series.

I thought the 90 day policy was removed when they upgraded to the 2003 test version. I actually think I may have taken my two tests more than 90 days apart. Might want to check with comptia about this one
