If 'sh cdp neighbors' or 'sh cdp neighbors detailed' is used, will ALL cisco devices in your network appear, or just ones directly connected to the current device?
Switch_A
Router_1
Switch_B
Switch_C
Switch_B(config)# sh cdp neighbors detail
//Would it show all of the devices? Or just Router_1 and Switch_C?

If a non-cisco, non-CDP speaking swicth/hub is directly connected CDP will pass thru it and show a CDP speaking device on the other side of it. This would be the one exception to the above answers.
