Usually if a virus is in your BIOS you are screwed.

use a program called BART PE made by PE BUILDER. this has a virus scanner. Boot your PC from CD and it will give you an windows xp screen. this is all before you computer goes to original windows. you can scann your bios here. IT is free to. ALSO you can build it the way you like. add more virus scanning programs if you like.
