Remote Access

What is the normal setup to allow access to a windows 2k3 server? I can't get remote desktop to connect to one. It is a domain controller and I have a router that is between internet and the server. Remote connection is turned or setup thru the router but I think I am missing something on the server. From the client the message says, "The server is busy or remote desktop isn't configured." I know I am just missing something simple, could someone give me any ideas.
Thanks in advance for your help and I will check back later.

I could just tell you were to start looking but then it wouldnt help you learn. And especially since Johan's Technotes explain it much better anyway.Foolproof systems don't take into account the ingenuity of fools -

I haven't checked the technotes here but I will shortly and see if they help.
Thanks for your help guys.

rockstar81 Member Posts: 151it doesnt sound like a permission/policy setting issue from the error message you gave. Is port 3389 enabled?
