tricky question!

Hello guys. I am now in the second part of A+ (O/S) and there is a few things in the book that are tricky for me and I am looking for someone that can use an easy way to make me understand the purpose of those few things:
IO.sys:
MSDOS.sys:
COMMAND.com:
CONFIG.sys:
AUTOEXEC.bat:
I did read everything in the book about them, but for some reason I don't get it, I tought that maybe there is some guys here that could find an easy way to help me to understand better about those and what they are used for, and what I will do with those in the real life.
