FYI,
Cisco press has some of their CCNP books at a 45% discount for members. Sorry, can't get the link to work.

    The problem is that these books will shortly be obsolete once the old tests retire. Study guides on the new tests are not out yet.

    I suppose these books would be fine for a start though.

    Has there been any notice as to when the new testing stuff is going to be released yet? I've been personally holding out on studying on the old exam info. for the rest of the year I'm going to be finishing out my A+ / Net+, but have been holding out on the cisco stuff till the new tests are released.

    That's what happened to me, i got them off of Amazon and then a week later i found out that Cisco is changing the exams after new years.. *bummer*
