ATM and ITM ???
Cypunk
Hello everybody,
i have a question. Is ATM also included in the CCNA exam?
My Company provided an Cisco ITM course to me, does anybody
know this course.
I just looked through the first chapter and it explains i.e. ATM in great
detail. After two times reading the Lammle-Book i can't find ATM in it.
So should i also learn this CISCO ITM course or is it for a different Exam?
Thanks
Andreas

I don't know the ITM course...
For the CCNA exam you 'only' need to know the basics of ATM... the adaption layers, cell size etc.

Now i found some more infos about ITM:
CCisco: Internetworking Technologies Multimedia (ITM)
And includes following issues:
Cisco ITM: Bridging and Switching
Cisco ITM: Internetworking Overview and LAN Protocols
Cisco ITM: Network Management
Cisco ITM: Routed Protocols
Cisco ITM: Routing Protocols
Cisco ITM: WAN Technologies
O.K. i guess i have to know this also, the onlyh thing that makes me wonder is that Mr. Lammle don't mention anything in the book, only in the appendix ATM/AAL.... is explained.
But thanks for answer
