Opinions on sitting the Convergence+ Beta.......
Received email from CompTIA today to announce the launch of the Convergence+ Beta.
Looks to be a very interesting exam from looking at the objectives and the price is apparently on $75 USD!
I think this is an area of the IT field that would be good to "get in early" as it is forecasted that there is going to be a big boom on the IPT/VOIP side of things in the near future!
My company implemented Nortel IPT 2 years ago therefore we got in early and despite still having teething problems now and then with the system the benefits clearly outweigh the little niggley bits. From the Technical newsletters that I'm now getting from Computer Weekly, Cisco, Juniper and now even CompTIA this looks to be the way forward as more and more companies are now ready for IPT.
What do you guys think of the convergence+ cert and who would be interested in sitting it?

(P.S. I know it's a Network+ forum but it's a new exam and the objectives say minimum req is Net+)
