Passed CCNA today with a score of 885! This was my second attempt and I'm so glad to have this monkey off my back!
Advice for those studing for the exam:
Don't just practice subnetting. Know it! Live it! Love it! If you have even the littlest doubt about your ability to subnet then don't sit the exam. I know this sounds harsh, but without giving away what to expect on the exam, lets just say that you knowing all about subnetting is assumed.
If you have never touched the Cisco CLI then you will not be prepared for the sims.
Just about every question is geared towards troubleshooting. Also, know the differnces between the routing protocols RIP, EIGRP and OSPF.
Best of Luck!
Now....on to CCVP!

Just a thought, you might consider the CCNP first, as most of the other "P" certs require much of the knowledge in it.There's no place like ^$

also for last comment, for someone like me who has extensive background in voip.. maybe ccvp is more pressing cert.. but I understand where you are coming from as well as from taking ccna exam, I feel like ccnp goes deeper into understanding of what ccna was covering and I have to say, I am interested in going deeper so I will do parallel studying(BCSI) and hope to gain deeper knowledge in cisco world!!!! -

Thanks for the advice, though at work all I do is break/fix for Callmanager, Unity, IPCC, CME, etc so CCVP is deffinately the right track for me.Geek Chic! http://www.wegeek.com
