New Cisco logo

What does everyone think of the new Cisco logo? It seems to me like they are trying to soften their image; maybe they're rebranding to get rid of the Linksys name and have Cisco home products instead.

IMHO the new logo looks too 'Fisher Price'. Like a "My First PIX Firewall!". I'm sure they did focus groups and studies to see how well people will like it. I just don't dig the new look icon_sad.gif.

    i hate new cisco logo, it looks like Toys`R`Us logo without "Larry" (giraffe) in it.
    old logo used to look elite and professional..

    Agree.....and it almost has no resemblance to the two bridges.

    The colours does look kinda kiddish, I wonder if they're actually using the new logo on their products.....I would be quite disappointed if I paid that much money and it had THAT kind of a logo on it....

    The new one looks like they gave a kid a box of crayola's.
    However they're still a great company right at the top of their game. :D

    their site isn't browser friendly (old netscapes and mozilla's crash),

    they keeeeep asking for username and password if i login from main page and go to prep centre,

    cisco's got the worst technical forums as well,

    You're right about Firefox...I've been noticing the site continually craps out when unless I use IE. The forums do suck big hairy anus too.
