A+ cert question
After you become A+ certified, do you have to keep taking the test every year to stay A+ certified??

cheeblie Member Posts: 288Well, normally you don't bring the certificate with you. You just write on your resume that you have it, and they'll verify it with CompTIA (They won't always verify which is a shame). If you got it in 1995, they assume you've been in the industry since then. This would give you far more knowledge than someone that just acquired the A+, such as myself. I'm pretty sure that when you confirm your A+ that they don't provide a date of certification. In fact, if you passed in 1995 you're probably better qualified than someone that passed it within the last year. The test has gotten increasingly easier over the years. In conclusion, it doesn't matter when you acquired A+, because it looks the same to employers.
