Hi there

Taking Network+ exam a week on Friday and I have a couple of questions.

Are there many questions on OSI?
Many questions on permissions?
Native protocols/which protocols come installed with each NOS?
Fibre?

Fibre? Yes, I had several.

Everyone's exam is a little different. I had 3-4 questions about the OSI model on mine, but some people get none. All of the topics you've brought up are fair game, however, so you should have a good grasp on all of it. Good luck!

I had A TON of OSI questions and didnt get that much related to cable lengths (though I know some who did so make sure you know them)

No permissions ?'s that I remember

Native Protocols? by that if you mean do you have to know them according to what what OS they belong with then yes you will probably get a few

Just concentrate on the objectives...and KNOW YOUR PORT NUMBERS!!!

Got cable lengths down, port numbers too.

Must revise the native protocols.

Feeling a bit of a cold coming on though. Not happy...
