Security + and MCSA /MCSE SECURITY

What is the best order to take the sucurity exams.

security +,70-298,70-299 what is the best way to take them.

I guess what i am asking do these exams build off of each other

    I disagree. I thought 298 would help with Sec+ when I failed Sec+ by one question. It was of no help. Sec+ didn't seem to help a whole lot for 298, but I already had basic knowledge of VPNs and IPSec. It was the details that tripped me up on Sec+ the first time. That and Comptia style questions.

    So basically after 70-293 go head and take 70-299 then 70-298 and finally Security +.

    Security+ had a whole lot of subjects to study. I took that one first, then took 70-298. You might see some of the concepts in the 70-298 exam that are on the Sec+ exam, but it's a Microsoft test and not a CompTIA. The Microsoft exams have they're own way of thinking when it comes to security. Now I'm going to schedule the 70-299 exam in a few weeks.
