internship in UK for a french graduate

Is there anyone who coul provide me some information,
about how to get an internship in UK?
I have heard that there is not internship in UK,so how can you convince an amployer to hire you for 6 month only?
FOr me:
I'm 23 year old,in my last year of master,specialized in network.
I'm also CCNA certified.
To tell the truth,i havent got a lots of experience,i have good understanding of networking concepts,but not a lots of practising in production environnement.

steve-o87 Member Posts: 274The big problem in the UK is no-one wants to hire you without experience. They all want the two years but no bugger will give it to you
You may find it easier getting some experience in France and then coming to the UK. I found getting work in my home country South Africa was so much easier considering it's "Third World" than in England. I think the employers expectations are a bit high in this country.

And what about ireland,is it the same as uk? -

I think that getting an internship in France is the best idea! Then breaking into the UK work market will be much easier
I'm not sure about the Irish job market to be honest But I have heard things I have heard a few folk say the IT jobs market is a little more "forgiving" in Ireland, But again don't take my word for it. You could try checking a few Job sites and doing comparisons of UK - France - Ireland.
