    if you are aiming high (like your post seems to indicate that you are considering all the steps to the top), there will be no need to take a+. it will just use up time and money that could be spend elsewhere.

    Actually, you do need to recertify, by taking the written exam every 2 years...

    And I don't think RHCE is even comparable with CCIE...

    I jsut read that. Did they change it? I thought I read on the cisco site that CCIE was for life.

    I checked again and your right.

    That kind sucks though.
