Router simulators that let you simulate OSPF and EIGRP?

Hey guys, are there any routing simulators that allow you to simulate the configuration of OSPF and EIGRP? I've got the SemSim simulator but it only allows for the configuration of RIP and IGRP, both of which suck
Heck, are there any router simulators that let you configure multiple network devices to see how they interact?

If you use the pre-made labs that come with it, it can be very helpful. BUT, if you try to create your own topology and then use a dynamic routing protocol - don't expect much more than basic connectivity. Debugging routing protocols isn't very reliable with sims. -

I don't think it would be very kosher to whip out my 2600's and catalyst switches in the middle of the airportCCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

bmauro Member Posts: 307Actually - you CAN basically lug cisco routers around anywhere you can take your laptop
Take a looks at Dynamips.
Here's a thread on it from our forum:

Here is the site's page - appears to be down for the moment.

Basically you can build your OWN virtual network, running real IOS code. It emulates the router's hardware - all you need is a legit copy of the IOS code you want to run. Pretty sweet stuff - blows the other net sims out of the water.
