72-290 (academic) count the same as 70-290?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if the 72-290 exam (the academic version of Windows 2003 Server) counts the same towards the MCSA/MCSE track as the 70-290 does? My teacher handed us a sheet saying that the 72-290 version was only $60 compared to the $125 price of the 70-290.

Just wondering if anyone knows if this counts the same or not.
