Serial Cables

I've been looking for the Cisco DTE and DCE cables on ebay and I came upon this:

Will this work instead of using the seperate Cisco DTE and DCE cables and hooking them together to simulate a WAN connection?

i would suggest getting the 1 ft and 3 ft cables as your lab grows

thats a steal I paid $6.95 each + shipping from that guy not too long ago.
