Pace Yourself and Know Acronyms

On my last test I was slowed down quite a bit by Acronyms, CPU and Memory speeds, and long winded customer service questions, not
familiar to me especially in the networking subjects, and so early on
about 1/4 way through I was about 12 questions short
of completing in time. I quickly made this up by remembering some
of the valued advice of the knowledgeable members here in first eliminating some of the obvious wrong answers or suspect answers, and also I received lots of short questions which offset the long questions.
In recaling I spent almost 2-3 minutes on some of the longer more difficult questions and a matter of seconds on answers I knew. I think I should have "marked" more difficult questions for review than I did.

I read somewhere that whatever you read, see or experience is written down indelibly in your mind permanently. It is always there, like ROM
memory. The problem is retrieving it. So drive the
knowledge down deep into your unconscious mind through repetition.
The dictionary meaning of practice or study is "repeated performance or systematic exercise for the purpose of acquiring skill or proficiency".

what kind of Acronyms are you having problems with? I dont recall reading or being tested on anything that wasnt well known. These things arent asked so that you would fail the test, they ask because it's things you should know about. So if you dont know what ATA, IDE, or LED is, God help you.

But you dont have to know every single Acronym...that would just be crazy.

What it is, how to make one for each OS that uses it, and how to use it.
