NetBIOS service codes

in Windows XP Professional
One of the books I've been using to study for the 270 includes (in the TCP/IP troubleshooting) the NetBIOS service codes. Is this covered by the exam?

    I didn't run into any questions regarding them, but that's not to say they don't exist. Know what NETBIOS is and how it relates to the OS as well a basic knowledge of the nbtstat command. That should be sufficient enough for the exam.

    I agree with Everlife. Just know what Netbios is, how it relates to DNS, how to use nbtstat command, and know what 0x1 0x2 0x4 and 0x8 is.
