Today I received an offer from the consulting company I was talking to. They said they would train me on the Linux and get me certified. I will be running the hardware part of their system - small company right now - about 50 users.
They offered 40K salary (Currently making 30,500.)
They are sending the acceptance letter today.
I think this is an opportunity to not pass up. Even though I do not know Linux like I do Windows - I will be provided the training and this will be a very big resume booster. Also this company pays very nice once I get trained.
So after months of looking - the search is over.
Thanks for all your help on this site - it has been great advice from everyone - very much helpful!
I will see you guys in the Linux sections - I am sure I will have a million questions.
Thanks again..
