I've found the Techexams.com practice tests, have the practice tests from the Lammle Sybex book, and have the mindleaders.com practice tests, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other free 640-821 exams out there. I'm taking the exam on Monday and I'd really like to over prepare and pass it, regardless of how easy it is.

Odieone Member Posts: 18 ■□□□□□□□□□Hi Guys, I am going for my CCNA too.
I checked out the Free Tests Exam Simulator.. The best I could do out of those was like 79% which is ironically what I scored the first time I failed. I was wondering if the questions in the practise exam is as hard as those on the real thing.
My weakness is the WAN technologies but in the free test simulator. There are some show type commands, I have never even seen before. I have used the Bosom Simulators and I studied Sybex CCNA. Which by the way, is a must for anyone with problems with Subnetting. But my confidence is rocked. I don't wanna fail again.
P.S My Academy instructor told me once, that if you fail once, the next time you attempt the exam, you need to score like 5% higher to pass. So if the first time is 85%, the next time is like 90%. But I have seen posts of people who have failed it 4 times. Is there any truth to what my CCIE told me? -

Was it good for you?
sorry... couldn't resist.that if you fail once, the next time you attempt the exam, you need to score like 5% higher to pass.
No... not if you're talking about the REAL exam!
If you're talking about the practice exam - he probably means that remembering specific answers to questions in a practice test isn't going to help you pass the real test! When running through practice questions multiple times - you definitely start to remember some answers, but for the wrong reasons. I remember one multiple answer practice question I had that had an easy pattern... so even if I didn't know the answer I could still get it right!128 64 32 16 | 8 4 2 1 128 192 224 240 | 248 252 254 255 25 26 27 28 | 29 30 31 32

Odieone Member Posts: 18 ■□□□□□□□□□Thanks Malweth, I have been worried since I failed if I go down again. i am looking at something like 95% to pass. I mean I love to get a high score but I just wanna pass. I am gonna check the noobie sections to see what they focus on.
thanks again dude.
