you could use 3640s for the ospf ver3 and cut router costs up to 80% or to about 300+ for each with 128/32

I want to stick with the 2800 series, been wanting to get a hold of them for the longest, I hope 2 is enough.

I use a rack full of 2811's at school and they kick ass. If you can afford em' I'd say go with em', cuz they'll be good for a long time to come.

Like I said I use them at school, cuz I can't even come close to affording them

Did you pass your CCIE written?

Haven't taken it yet. Was gonna take it today, actually, but I'm in the middle of the internetwork expert class on demand series, and don't want to take it until I'm finished

Maybe look at a 3560....

And consider Dynamips/Dynagen on a bulky PC with lots of Network Cards.

But still get the 2800s

Mr D what do you think of the IE class on demand? I was thinking about going that route when it comes time to start preparing myself.

It's by far the most detailed training I've come across. Make sure you understand every CCNP fact thoroughly plus some before venturing into this class.

I remember reading a warning on Groupstudy about the 2801's feature set missing some components, and that to opt for the 2811, although I cant remeber what it was, I think it was related to BGP for IPv6 and some other things.
