71-621 Beta Invite!

Got my beta invite and booked the test for after xmas. Apart from the links that MS give you does anyone have additional resources to study for this exam?

Also, does anybody know where I could get hold of a copy of Vista to start studying? I believe it's available now via a MSDN subscription?

Any tips would be much apprecated! I'm going to have a busy time over xmas studying, hehe

I used the book "introduction to vista" which helped alot, also practiced alot with the actuall OS, its pritty hard to get your hands on vista now as its been released for businesses so they have stopped the customer preview.

you might still be able to get it on MSDN.

The beta i did was 70-620, to be honest i expected it to be much harder than it seemed although i could be wrong still waiting on the results.

1 "Microsoft Windows Vista Unveiled"
Paul McFedries; Paperback;

1 "Introducing Windows Vista (Introducing)"
William Stanek; Paperback;

Also trying to prep for 70-284 before xmas! :S

I got invited too but i can't register right now because the testing centers hotlines are not open on the weekend

Is there another way to register for the beta exam other than the hotline?

CBT Nuggetts are doing a vista first look series which I thought was quite good. He goes in to a fair bit of detail for Windows Defender, Firewall and the like.

Nothing much has changed between the RC and the released version just mostly under the hood stuff.
