3550 Switch - SMI

Hi,

Currently building a lab, and am curious if you can load a 3550 EMI image on a 3550 SMI?

The question is, is the switch IOS or hardware restricted? Thanks

There should be no issues!

Always back up your ios's though just incase there is a problem!

Make sure you have enough memory on your 3550 before you upgrade to EMI image
