Confusion..

Iam reading that the UNII bands encompasses 5.725-5.825
Then I read that in covers 5.725-5.875

can anybody please clarify?

5.725-5.825 GHz = UNII
5.725-5.875 GHz = ISM
They do overlap.

I read book from 2003
Used flash cards
and the Techtest from the site.

The exam is very wordy.
I did not encounter any format of the test during my studies,
very multiple, multiple

Sorry to hear that you didn't pass, wolfgang73. The format of the CWNA exam is very similar to the CompTIA exams, but the questions are more well-written. They are wordy, but not nearly as much as those on the Microsoft exams.

Now that you know what the CWNA exam is like, your chances of passing the second time are much higher. People who fail the first time usually didn't realize how thoroughly they needed to both know the material and understand how to apply it.

sorry to hear that.

My advice - next time try to learn a lot by heart and memorize as many details as possible. Unfortunately the exam tests rather your memory than the ability to see the big picture.

After I purchase the updated book,

Let me know if there are any more new discount deals like the one that just passed for $145 for vouture, book, & practice test.
