Passed 284 – Just!

Sat and Passed 70-284 this morning with a score of 730! – Just scrapped by but to quote an old cliché “A Pass is a Pass”.

My opinion of the exam is that it was relatively tricky, the questions were mostly long scenarios with a load of fluff that you had to pick through to find the actual question. Questions spanned between address lists, co-existing, upgrading and routing groups (which was heavily tested). Anyone who is looking to take this test in the near future I would suggest that you swat up on the routing material and ensure that you know your bridgeheads from your smart hosts!

Just a quickie as Im looking to do this one for my resume
Do you think I need to complete the 291 in order to do this one? Just finished the 290 after 4 months and servers are doing my head in

Personally I'd tackle 291 and get it over and done with. However, 284 is a nice relief from 'general' server administration. You do need a fairly good understanding of DNS to take this exam but the choice is really yours mate.
