Block a website
How would everyone block 3 or 4 website so their kids could not access them? (without using a proxy)

TechJunky Member Posts: 881take the site, ie: sex.com and have it point to 127.0.0.1 in your hosts file.
You could always use content advisor in internet explorer. -
JDMurray Admin Posts: 13,089 AdminAdding each site's IP address to the \Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file is perhaps the easiest way. That'll stop all client contact with the site regardless of the Web browser used. I prefer to use 0.0.0.0 rather than 127.0.0.1, though.
