I am having a hard time finding good documentation on how to image a Vista PC (also Longhorn server) using the new technology.
I run some xp and 2003 virtual machine in both production and test environments and have been using sysprep when I have a "base" install set up for a particular configuation that I need to have on hand. I am now wanting to have some Vista PC's in my test environment, but sysprep doesn't seem to work in the same way on Vista and Longhorn Beta as on XP and 2003.
Could someone point me in the right direction toward the utility I need to use and/or some good documentation?
Thanks.

ImageX
I'm working on article about it. Started on it when it was still XImage instead of ImageX, but will probably wait until I start writing TechNotes for the Vista exams before I finish it. Following is a Microsoft article that should get you started:

I used a beta version to move the installed XP from my notebook to a new harddisk, so I didn't have to reinstall everything and restore backups. It works like a charm. You need a pre-boot environement (I actually used BartPE).
