Can some one point out what im missing here?
Fixed faults like this numerous times before but this morning i cannot think.
User is logging on to local profile on laptop which maps him to his home share on a 2K3 server. He is unable to view his files (i have logged into server and can see these fine)
I have checked
- permissions
- checked ownership
- disconnected share
- reconnected share
- syncronised folder
- deleted offline files and recreated
User is still unable to view his home share.
Someone point what i've forgotten about today so i can kick myself
[Edit - User can see only a couple of folders not all which would make me think - offline/permissions/ownership but these have been checked]

There was a few problems:
- Backup service was taking ownership of files
- Offline files on local machine were not being removed following the Tools > Folder Options > Offline Files > Delete Files Otption.
Resolved the backup issue and manually removed all offline files re-connected drive syncronised.
Thanks for your reply however SprkymrkFoolproof systems don't take into account the ingenuity of fools
