Problem with accessing https
terry_tam
I have encounter a problem with using IE 6.0 SP1 to access https link. The computer has Windows 2000 Professional as the OS. Acessing general URL with prefix "http" is OK! But the IE cannot access any link with https. Anyone have come across this problem and how can I fix this problem? Many Thanks!

I can only suggest in the following order:
1. make sure that you have no spyware/malware on your PC, if no joy:
2. make sure that your firewall is not blocking https traffic. if no joy:
3. upgrading to IE7, if no joy:
4. add the Https site into the trusted zone of IE (if you trust that site), if no joy:
5. try another PC/laptop, it may be a DNS issue with either your PC or your ISP.
Hope this helps

Are you trying different https sites? If it is one site they could have issues with SSL.
