in Security+
Hi All, I passed today...I wanted a "bragging score", but that didn't happen. I got over the hump to 786. icon_confused.gif
Obscure describes about half of the questions. I realize there are some questions that "don't count" against the test-taker, it just seemed like some of them were from left field. I marked about ten questions for review. I'm looking over my materials tonight as I reflect on the day. This security field is very interesting. I am realizing how deep this stuff can really go.
I ordered books tonight for the Server+ exam. I am thinking of doing ccna after server+. What do you guys think?

    Congratulations on the pass.
    Server+ is probably the next in line in terms of difficulty (not counting Proj+ or CDIA+). Lots of independent research. Doable.

    hey man the server+ is not to hard i only study for two week and i was able to pass it
    just know ur scsi's fibre channel, physical security, but pretty much everything is commom sense....
    im taking my Sec+ today i hope i ll pass it

    I'm still studying for server+. My case arrived today. Motherboard and other parts arriving tomorrow sometime. I downloaded Server 2003 Enterprise from Microsoft. this will be fun and rewarding.
    Good luck to you on Security+. It covers alot, just not real deep.
