hi,
think its time to complete my MCSA
would 3 months for the 291 be realistic?
plan to buy CBTnuggets as the main tool, Learnkey to fill in the gaps and have 2 pc's. Both as 2003 server R2 and a virtual pc running XP as the client ( or maybe just use a server terminal session as client)
need a light read too but my concentration with books is VERY limited, prefer hands on
any thoughts?

Everyone has their own method/time line of studying. I'm giving myself 6 weeks to prepare for this exam.
Testout has been fantastic!
Syngress is a great book to supplement it with.

Sounds ok. Depends on how confident you are with the topics. DNS and RRAS being the main topics if I remember rightly.
I found the big blue a big help with this one too. Also the practice questions on this site were great. The nuggets are also a fantastic resource although Mr Conrads teaching of custom subnetting didn't help a great deal as he uses the Sci Calc and I didn't get one in my exam.
Good luck with your studies!Up Next : Not sure -

In my opinion hands on is the best thing to do to pass this exam.Working on: MCSA 2012 R2
