MPLS Intro Question

Hi Folks,

We're playing with the idea of replacing our managed MPLS service with one of our own, where basically we lease the circuit/CSU-DSU but utilize and manage our own routers for the links. It's still at evaluation stage and I will delve a lot deeper as time permits but I was curious about the routers that could handle the task - I'm not being a lazy git, just a bit swamped at work and figured one of you bright folks would have a quick answer...so, partial lazy git ;).... From what I've found so far the 3640 is the lowest Cisco router capable of MPLS routing, of course I may have it all wrong and any router and a serial connection of some kind to the DCE (or whatever the MPLS equivalent is) might do. So if any of you can shed some light (no need for great detail) on the basics of the hardware needed that would be great.

Thanks.
We responded to the Year 2000 issue with "Y2K" solutions...isn't this the kind of thinking that got us into trouble in the first place?
