This might be a dumb question but i signed up for the 70-270 exam.. but now its saying 72-270, are they the same test?? Because i have been studying alot of practice tests for 70-270 and this would be a big problem if the 72 is a new version or something. Any help would be appreciated.

    Well. I’ve the same question…..
Last year I did the exam and failed icon_sad.gif . I’m learning now.
But when I saw 72-270 I was confused
I searched the whole universe but I still don’t now what it means

72-270 is the discounted exam of 70-270, I believe only certain individuals can register for those, where did you schedule your exam?

I believe that the exams with the 72 prefix are the exams that are offered through the Microsoft Academic Alliance and are the same as taking the exams with the 70 prefix. I think the only difference is the price.......72's are less expensive that the 70's.

So, if you are eligible to take the less expensive 72-270 then go for it.

I think what Silver Bullet says is true..
Because on my school they offer one exam for € 80 that’s like 100 dollar (?)
When you fail your first exam, you can do a second shot for free…
