BSCI 642-801 or 642-901
I am confused, I am trying to start self study for CCNP. I've had a look at cisco website and it lists the requirements. BSCI 642-801, BCMSN 642-811, BCRAN 642-821, and CIT 642-831. I attempted to buy a book for the BSCI exam and found it had the number 642-901. I didn't buy the book as CISCO say the exam is 642-801. Does this mean the exam is about to change? Can anyone recommend a good self study guide.

Webmaster Admin Posts: 10,292 AdminThe exam has just been renewed... 640-901 is the BSCI 1.0 exam, (before that is was the BSCN exam, where the N stands for networks instead of Internetworks.)
The 642-801 exam is the new BSCI 2.0 exam, it's available since only a couple of months ago. BUT, the 640-901 and 642-801 exam topics are exactly the same, no changes, no additions. That is also why Cisco says you need to use 640-901 study material. I used the study guide by Clare Cough which covers almost everything...
